Three are returning guests; one is new to SATB:<\/p>\n<p><b>Luther Russell<\/b>: (<b>Those Pretty Wrongs<\/b>) &#8211; multi-instrumentalist<\/p>\n<p>Currently performing as one half of the duo <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thoseprettywrongs.com\/\">Those Pretty Wrongs<\/a> alongside ex-Big Star Jody Stephens, Luther\u00a0has become a semi-regular on the podcast.\u00a0As a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist\/producer, he has discussed The Beatles&#8217; recording <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/196-in-the-studio-1968-w-jerry-hammack-part-one\/id1483392342?i=1000484271598\">techniques<\/a>, work as a <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/199-credit-where-due-with-luther-russell\/id1483392342?i=1000488654594\">collaborative<\/a>, and the magic of Ringo&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/192-part-one-ringo-forensics\/id1483392342?i=1000471757520\">drumming<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The first two albums from Those Pretty Wrongs are being <a href=\"https:\/\/curation-records.bandcamp.com\/album\/those-pretty-wrongs-zed-for-zulu\">reissued<\/a> as a double album set, while a third is due out this year. He will also have a new solo set out as well.<\/p>\n<p><b>Arion Salazar<\/b>: (ex-<b>Third Eye Blind<\/b>) &#8211; bass<\/p>\n<p>In his first appearance on SATB, he\u00a0discussed <a href=\"https:\/\/s-s-webdesign.online\/beatles\/123-all-about-that-bassist\/\">Paul McCartney<\/a> as an innovator, impacting generations beyond the 1960s. It was Arion who offered up the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.andrewturnbull.net\/3eb\/3ebst-back-big.jpg\">back cover<\/a> design of Third Eye Blind&#8217;s multi-platinum 1997 debut (&#8220;Semi-Charmed Life&#8221;) which evoked the <a href=\"https:\/\/preview.redd.it\/1cmqtixvk1a21.jpg?auto=webp&amp;s=cd73c9cbca70a9663214ba463d9daeb1a83cb9b2\">back cover <\/a>of The Beatles&#8217; 1966 <em>Revolver<\/em> album. In early 2021, the bassist put together ensembles of musicians from bands including Smash Mouth, Smashing Pumpkins, Stevie Wonder and Testament, among others, to perform heartfelt <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/xwuHfGDf_t8\">covers<\/a> of Beatle-related material for the first <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fab4conjam.com\/\">Fab4ConJam<\/a>. He recently recorded with <a href=\"https:\/\/flipsyde.com\/\">Flipsyde<\/a> in Muscle Shoals for a pending release this year.<\/p>\n<p><b>Pat Sansone<\/b>: (<b>Wilco)<\/b> &#8211; multi-instrumentalist<\/p>\n<p>He\u00a0waxed eloquently for over two hours on the\u00a0<em>Sgt. Pepper<\/em>\u00a0album on a 2021 episode of SATB.<\/p>\n<p>Pat&#8217;s radio show:\u00a0<i>Baroque Down Palace<\/i>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0a 2 hour show every month that centers on Rock, Pop, Soul, Folk music of the 1960s and 1970s that feature symphonic embellishments, or influence in some way from the classical music world:<a href=\"https:\/\/wyxr.org\/baroque-down-palace\/\">https:\/\/wyxr.org\/baroque-down-palace\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pat has released a 7&#8243; vinyl <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansonicarecords.com\/\">single<\/a>\u00a0; a book of his photography, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansonicabooks.com\/\"><em>100 Polaroids<\/em>,<\/a> was recently reissued.<\/p>\n<p>New to the show (but not The Beatles): drummer <b>Dennis Diken<\/b>, founding member of <b>The Smithereens<\/b>.\u00a0In addition to their work over the course of several gold and platinum<a href=\"https:\/\/www.officialsmithereens.com\/music\"> releases<\/a>, he and his band recorded a pair of studio albums and one live one honoring The Beatles. They currently continue to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.officialsmithereens.com\/shows\">perform<\/a> live, alternately fronted by Gin Blossoms vocalist Robin Wilson and recording artist Marshall Crenshaw (also a previous <a href=\"https:\/\/s-s-webdesign.online\/beatles\/105-marshall-crenshaw-beatles-power-pop\/\">SATB<\/a> guest), in place of the late Pat DiNizio.<\/p>\n<p>He also records with <strong>Bell Sound<\/strong>, whose critically acclaimed album <em>Late Music<\/em> was released in 2009.
